T1 – Christian Therapy is Relational Therapy
A thorough overview of the relational basis of Christian therapy and how it differs from modern, secular therapy. The Trinity is a relational God and humans are created in his image. A Christian worldview, therefore, sees relationship as the primary modality of therapy. This talk includes a discussion of the Relational Pyramid (Triune God, others, oneself, and one’s relational history), with special focus on family-of-origin wounds and the healing potential of relationship with God, a therapist, and Christian friends.
Duration: 3 hrs to 3 days
T2 – Carditive Therapy: Working with the Emotions in the Heart
Explores the emotions as vital and meaningful parts of human life and healing. This seminar reflects on their purpose in a fallen world and how working with emotions can lead to the formation of a beautiful soul.
Duration: 3 hrs to 2 days
T3 – Promoting Redemption in the Window of Tolerance
Introduces neurobiological patterns like fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Helps therapists identify and calm these embodied responses and integrate redemptive resources that shift emotion schemes—offering rest and safety in Christ.
Duration: 1–3 hrs
T4 – Can Christians Have “Parts”?
A Christian engagement with Internal Family Systems (IFS). This talk examines whether and how the concept of “parts” aligns with Christian theology, exploring a redemptive and biblical understanding of self-complexity for therapeutic work.
Duration: 1–3 hrs
T5 – Redemptive Differentiation, Integration, and Elaboration on the Healing Journey
Presents three practical ways Christ’s redemption and union with Him can orient and shape the therapeutic journey.
Duration: 3–6 hrs
