Nicolene Joubert, PhD
Nicolene L. Joubert, PhD, is a registered Counseling Psychologist with over four decades of experience specializing in trauma therapy, dissociative disorders, and Christian psychology. She is widely recognized for her pioneering work in developing Christian and multicultural approaches to psychological care.

Dr. Joubert’s research has significantly influenced the field of Christian psychology, particularly in trauma therapy and dissociative disorders. She has developed distinct therapeutic models grounded in Christian worldview and has contributed extensively to scholarship that integrates theology and psychology. A major contribution to the field is her editorial work on The Theory and Practice of Christian Psychology in Europe (Cambridge Scholars, 2022), which brings together key voices advancing Christian psychology across the continent.
